The feature is powered by JavaScript and a database of locations, ensuring a seamless navigation experience for users. The user-friendly interface and intuitive design make it easy for refugees to find the information they need and explore their new community with confidence.

Easy and Intuitive Navigation
The Connect with Professionals feature allows refugees to find practicing and up-to-date doctors in Surrey who can speak their language. This helps to break down language barriers and other barriers to accessing healthcare, allowing refugees to receive the support they need to stay healthy and thrive in their new home.Connecting with Registered Health Professionals
The feature supports four registered languages and three health professionals: psychologist, counsellor, physician. This provides refugees with the flexibility to choose the type of healthcare provider that best meets their needs and the comfort of knowing that the professionals they are connecting with are registered and up-to-date.
